Postly lifetime deal

The Postly AppSumo lifetime deal is sold out. For an existing owner, the useful decision is whether the purchased publishing allowance still meets the job and whether an extra API subscription is cheaper than changing schedulers. Current Pro marketing is not proof of what an older lifetime licence includes.

Who is Postly for?

Keep a working Postly account if its confirmed allowances cover the job. Before adding automation or committing another client, reconcile the purchased entitlement with the account today. Do not pay for a replacement until you know which missing capability actually matters.

Postly plans and pricing

Pricing is not available for Postly. It is excluded from price and savings comparisons.

Costs and limits to account for

  • LTD API access is an extra $15/month or $144/year.
  • Current Pro includes API and MCP; this is a different purchase.
  • Historical lifetime prices were not reliably established.

Start with the licence you bought

The saved historical listing describes scheduling, bulk publishing, analytics, recurring posts, approvals and multiple workspaces. Its recorded entry allowance includes five workspaces and 4,000 AI-writing words per month. Historical tier prices are unavailable, and the offer is no longer available to buy.

Treat those records as evidence of the historical offer, not a live reading of your account. An existing owner should compare the original purchase and redemption documents with visible account limits, especially profile count, workspaces, publishing allowances and recurring-post access. Keep the vendor’s written explanation when something differs.

What the API add-on changes—and what it does not

Postly’s current FAQ quotes lifetime-owner API access at $15 monthly or $144 annually. Annual billing is $36 less than twelve monthly payments at the stated rate. This buys the API/MCP connection described by the vendor; it does not change the original profile, team or workspace allowance.

At an unchanged $144 annual rate, three more years would cost $432 for this add-on alone. That is an illustrative operating-cost total, not a guarantee of future pricing. Add the time saved by keeping a familiar calendar and the cost of moving before choosing a new lifetime deal solely to avoid the subscription.

Pro includes API and MCP as part of a different purchase. Do not copy the Pro entitlement into an old lifetime account. Existing API subscribers may also retain their purchased terms, so the relevant price is the one confirmed for your own account, not necessarily a new buyer’s checkout.

AI media and managed X publishing can add separate bills

The current pricing page lists optional AI Studio and X-Pro services. Its displayed annual-billing examples are $24 per month billed as $288 a year. That presentation is not a $24 one-time upgrade. Confirm eligibility and the selected billing interval before adding either to an old account.

The displayed X-Pro allowance uses weighted publishing credits: ordinary and media posts use one credit, while posts containing links use fourteen. That difference can dominate the cost for a publisher who shares blog links every day. It should not be confused with a simple post count or automatically applied to a historical X arrangement.

AI Studio lists image and video allowances separately from AI text. An API add-on that mentions unlimited text does not establish unlimited images or video. Buy the specific output capability needed rather than assuming every AI-labelled feature comes with the same subscription.

Resolve entitlement concerns before expanding a client account

Recent AppSumo reviews include buyers reporting reduced account or workspace access, recurring-feature restrictions and lost scheduled content during a platform migration. They are significant enough that an owner should verify the account before adding more scheduled work.

The current FAQ says lifetime purchases keep their benefits. That statement and the buyer reports should be read together: a public promise does not establish the state of each old account, and one complaint does not establish that every owner has the same issue. Compare the actual invoice, plan and support response for your situation.

Maintain an external content calendar and a recoverable copy of important assets. This is particularly useful when publishing for clients, where rebuilding a queue may cost more than the annual price difference between tools.

Compare the missing capability, not just the lifetime label

AdaptlyPost is worth comparing when included API and MCP access are central to the intended workflow. Check its current tier, profile limits and actual supported actions; an included API does not mean every content type or network action is supported. The existing product page covers its allowance separately.

SocialBu is another candidate when the problem is team scheduling, approval and automation. A buyer who only needs a small calendar should also compare the simplest available plan before paying for AI features. Keep this decision distinct from PosteAhora, whose historical packages and X restrictions require their own entitlement check.

For an owner whose existing Postly account works and requires no API, moving can create cost without adding value. For an owner with unresolved limits or missing workflows, a verified replacement may be worth more than preserving a low historical purchase price.

USE CASES

What problems does Postly solve?

01

Decide whether to add API automation to an existing scheduler

An owner wants an AI assistant or external workflow to draft and schedule posts without leaving a familiar publishing setup.

How to use it

  1. Confirm the existing account still covers the required profiles and workspaces.
  2. Identify the API actions and approval steps the workflow needs.
  3. Compare the recurring API add-on with switching, including migration work.

What this helps you do: The owner can evaluate the extra capability without repurchasing basic scheduling unnecessarily.

Limitations: The add-on does not enlarge the original publishing, team or workspace allowance, according to the FAQ.

02

Move a client calendar without losing scheduled work

A team is considering leaving its old scheduler because allowances or reliability no longer fit.

How to use it

  1. Record upcoming posts, profile connections, assets and recurring schedules.
  2. Export or independently preserve content wherever supported.
  3. Recreate a small calendar in the replacement, verify it and then cut over deliberately.

What this helps you do: A controlled move makes omissions and duplicate schedules easier to spot.

Limitations: An old scheduled-post list is not guaranteed to import into another tool. Keep a record outside either vendor until the change is verified.

Postly lifetime deal FAQs

Can I buy the Postly AppSumo lifetime deal now?

The AppSumo listing says sold out. Current Postly subscription plans are separate purchases.

Does my old licence automatically include API or MCP access?

The current FAQ lists API access for lifetime owners as an extra subscription. Check whether you already purchased or hold a specific entitlement; do not infer access from the Pro pricing page.

Will the API add-on add more social profiles?

The FAQ says the original publishing, team and workspace allowances remain unchanged. Confirm any needed capacity increase separately.

Should I move if my account still works?

Not necessarily. Compare the missing capability and future charges with migration work, and verify the proposed replacement before removing working connections.
