Compare a small free group with paid membership economics before choosing a plan.
For paid memberships where platform fees matter

EzyCommunity
Tier 3 removes the platform sales commission. Compare the extra upfront cost with the commission you expect to pay on lower tiers, then check 5,000 members, 15 GB and 150,000 monthly database operations against actual use.
Keep in mind: Payment processor fees remain. A separately branded app under your own store identity is an additional purchase, not the shared mobile app included in the offer.

EzyCommunity
Tier 1 is the smaller starting point if 500 members, 5 courses and 5 GB cover a group that is not yet selling memberships. Buying the largest tier before you have a community is not automatically a saving.
Keep in mind: Paid sales on this tier carry a platform commission. Recalculate the plan choice when you begin charging, and keep media and operation limits in view.

Shared mobile access lets members use the provider’s app. An app listed under your own brand is a separate operational and purchasing decision; do not let a general white-label label decide it.
How should you evaluate a migration?
Start with a small test group and check paid, free and expired-member access, events, emails and data export. Keep a copy of the original content until the replacement workflow is proven.
Feature comparison
Use the same checklist for each tool. Plan limits, paid extras and features that need confirmation are shown separately.
Features are grouped by documented coverage. “Not confirmed” means the evidence is incomplete, not that a feature is absent.
Check each product’s plan notes for tier limits and additional costs. Feature coverage is not a quality rating.
Buying questions
Does EzyCommunity Tier 3 include my own branded mobile app?
Do not assume that. Shared mobile access and Tier 3 white-label branding are distinct from a separately branded app under your own name, which the founder directs to a separate paid offer.
Does every tier have zero commission?
No. The current AppSumo table lists 4% on Tier 1, 1.5% on Tier 2 and 0% on Tier 3. Payment processor fees are separate.
Can I buy more marketing email capacity?
The founder says additional packages are available. The answer does not specify a current package price.
