Match brand-and-channel coverage and refresh frequency to the campaign decisions you need to make.
For a small recurring competitor watchlist

Rival Ads
Growth provides 6 brand-and-channel monitors with collection every 7 days. It can fit a weekly creative review when you do not need a new report after every daily campaign change.
Keep in mind: It cannot establish a competitor’s actual return on ad spend. Channel and country coverage must match your market; a long-running ad is a lead for investigation, not proof of profit.

Rival Ads
Scale raises capacity to 12 monitors and refreshes every 3 days. Consider it when a weekly snapshot misses changes you need for ongoing campaign briefs.
Keep in mind: White-label reporting starts at the next tier. More frequent observation still does not reveal private spend or conversion results.

Start with the question your campaign team needs answered: which offers are changing, which creative formats recur, or how landing pages support an ad. Choose a small set of relevant competitors and channels for that question. An archive becomes useful when someone can turn observations into a brief, rather than simply collecting more screenshots.
Choose a reporting cadence
Match the refresh interval to when you make creative decisions. A monthly planning meeting may not require the same collection schedule as a team revising campaigns during the week. Count every required brand-and-channel pair, then choose the lowest plan that fits both coverage and timing. Reporting under your own brand is a separate feature requirement.
Treat visibility as evidence, not performance data
Public advertising can reveal messaging and changes, while private results remain unknown. Label each conclusion as an observation or a hypothesis before it reaches a creative brief. Your own campaign tests and economics must decide what to keep; a competitor’s repeated ad does not establish that copying its offer will work for your audience.
Feature comparison
Use the same checklist for each tool. Plan limits, paid extras and features that need confirmation are shown separately.
Features are grouped by documented coverage. “Not confirmed” means the evidence is incomplete, not that a feature is absent.
Check each product’s plan notes for tier limits and additional costs. Feature coverage is not a quality rating.
Buying questions
Does one monitor cover all channels for a company?
No. Official documentation counts each company-and-channel combination separately.
Is Rival Ads a competitor ROAS tracker?
It tracks public advertising evidence. That does not establish private spend, sales or ROAS.
Can I use it for TikTok in any country?
The detailed documentation limits its TikTok source to the UK and EEA. Confirm your market before buying.
