SOFTWARE BUYING GUIDE

Email marketing lifetime deals for newsletters

An email marketing lifetime deal needs to fit both the audience you can store and the messages you will send. These limits are measured separately. A list that fits comfortably today can still consume a finite email allowance quickly during launches or a daily publishing schedule.

SendFox is an option for a solo newsletter with forms and a welcome sequence. Start with the sending calculation below, then check the features you need. A low purchase price is less useful if you need a paid upgrade from the first campaign.

Recommended tools and plans

For a solo publisher, SendFox is worth considering when a branded footer is acceptable and the sending pool covers the planned workload.

At $29 once, the plan includes campaigns, forms and automations with room for 5,000 contacts. Use it when the expected send budget fits; contact capacity alone is not enough to decide.

License Tier 1: $29 one-time

Keep in mind: The 300,000 sends are a non-renewing total. Separate staff logins and removing SendFox branding require Pro.

Utobo Email

Utobo Email gives 5,000 monthly sends and 5,000 stored contacts at $49. Consider it when a renewing pool and API/SMTP are more useful than a finite lifetime allowance.

License Tier 1: $49 one-time

Keep in mind: Newsletters, sequences and transactional messages share capacity. No reserved password-reset quota is established; operational Draper AI is separate.

Tier 2 includes 3 users, 10 mailboxes and 10,000 monthly sends. Choose it for both team access and enough combined traffic.

License Tier 2: $129 one-time

Keep in mind: Separate domains do not multiply the monthly allowance. Estimate every campaign recipient and application-triggered message before buying.

Calculate campaigns and automated emails together

Write down recipients per campaign, campaigns per month and the automated messages a subscriber receives. Count each recipient-message pair as a send. A welcome sequence and a launch reminder both add to the budget, even if the contact is already on your list.

For example, 2,000 recipients receiving four campaigns use 8,000 sends. If 100 new subscribers also receive three welcome messages, the planned month uses 8,300 sends before other automations. This illustrative workload leaves room for other automations.

Divide the remaining send pool by your expected monthly use to estimate how long it could last. Recalculate with a larger audience and the busiest launch month; an average month can hide the point at which you need more capacity.

Choose a lifetime pool or a monthly allowance

SendFox’s current lifetime allowance does not renew, and another copy cannot be stacked onto the same account. When the pool is exhausted, sending pauses; Pro provides the continuation route. Older SendFox licences have different terms.

A monthly newsletter and an occasional short launch can be a sensible use of a finite pool. A daily publication or a growing automated programme should compare recurring plans before buying. The relevant cost is the amount needed to keep your actual schedule running, not the licence price by itself.

Check the features that would force a subscription

The difference between a solo newsletter and a team publishing operation matters more than a long feature list. Write down the requirements that cannot be replaced with a simpler workflow.

  • One editor, standard layouts and a branded footer: the lifetime feature set can fit a straightforward newsletter.
  • Separate staff logins: SendFox assigns team access to Pro; sharing one login is not a substitute for the access controls you need.
  • A paid newsletter, full custom HTML or a custom domain on a Smart Page: these are Pro features in the current help documentation.
  • A/B testing inside an automation: check the Pro requirement before planning the sequence around it.

Check the migration before paying to store a bigger list

An export needs more than email addresses. List the groups, signup information, unsubscribe records and automations you need to retain. Then check how each will be represented in the new platform. Extra contact capacity cannot compensate for losing an exclusion list or sending the wrong welcome sequence.

Use a small sample to check the import columns and signup journey before moving the main list. If address quality is the problem, an email verifier can screen the list separately; it does not replace the newsletter platform or establish permission to email people.

Budget for the services around the newsletter

Include the domain and any mailbox you use for replies, plus a verifier or paid connector if the workflow requires one. SendFox supports sending-domain validation, but buying the licence does not configure your domain records for you.

Compare the total for the same list size, campaign frequency and required features over a period you can reasonably plan. Keep future growth as a separate scenario. Avoid a multi-year savings claim that assumes a finite send pool lasts for the entire period.

When starting free is the better decision

If you have not settled the newsletter schedule or collected an audience yet, use the free option to establish the workflow before committing to capacity. Check its current allowance and restrictions rather than assuming the lifetime plan is necessary from day one.

Before a time-sensitive campaign, review the available sends and the number of recipients. A purchase made months earlier does not tell you whether enough allowance remains for the next launch.

A transactional path needs capacity as well as speed

Utobo describes an immediate path for transactional messages, but it shares the account send pool with campaigns. A newsletter burst can therefore consume capacity that a password reset will need later, even if it does not occupy the same sending queue. Keep headroom or a separately validated transactional arrangement.

SendFox now also documents transactional messages using its cumulative lifetime pool. Neither a connected API nor a large contact limit means that application email has a separate free allowance. Choose around total message demand and the consequences of reaching the cap.

Buying questions

Is a contact limit the same as a monthly email allowance?

No. Contacts describe the audience stored in the account; sends count messages delivered through the platform. Sending four campaigns to the same audience uses roughly four times as many sends as one campaign, before automations.

Can I use this newsletter deal for cold outreach?

Treat newsletters and prospecting as separate workflows. SendFox is considered here for people who expect your newsletter. For outbound sequences, compare tools built around outreach mailboxes, verification and reply management.

Should a team choose SendFox Lifetime?

Only if the included workflow meets the team’s actual requirements. Separate staff access is a Pro feature, so a team that needs individual logins should include that recurring cost before choosing the lifetime purchase.
