Buy nowExplore PrometAI’s features and plansStart with the financial job
Fin organizes personal financial records. HoneyBill creates and tracks invoices. PrometAI structures business plans and financial assumptions. Buying one because it has an AI feature does not make it a replacement for the other two.
List the required input and output: a reconciled statement, an invoice a customer can pay, or a reviewed business-plan export. That reveals the appropriate product before any price comparison.
Automation does not remove review
Check imported records against the original statement, generated invoices against agreed rates and forecast assumptions against evidence. A dashboard can look coherent while its inputs are wrong.
For personal records, test transfers and card payments so they are not double-counted. For invoices, check reminders stop after payment. For business plans, change an assumption and inspect both the narrative and financial output.
Tier gates can matter before capacity
HoneyBill Tier 1 is limited manual invoicing; Tier 2 is needed for AI, Stripe, recurring billing and reminders. PrometAI Tier 3 is the entry point for scenarios and presentation export, while API/MCP require higher tiers. Fin has one Pro account, not a team tier.
Do not buy a larger allowance to solve a missing permission or workflow. A client portal, accountant role or bank integration must be explicitly supported rather than inferred from a financial product label.
Preserve records and avoid false savings
A spreadsheet or document can be a sufficient free starting point. A paid tool earns its place when the repeated workflow becomes easier without losing important controls. Keep exports and original evidence outside any single cloud product.
These tools do not guarantee tax compliance, investment suitability, loan approval or fundraising success. Compare the required workflow and ongoing costs, including payment processing and potential AI extras, rather than treating a one-time licence as the entire cost of financial administration.
Feature comparison
Use the same checklist for each tool. Plan limits, paid extras and features that need confirmation are shown separately.
Features are grouped by documented coverage. “Not confirmed” means the evidence is incomplete, not that a feature is absent.
Check each product’s plan notes for tier limits and additional costs. Feature coverage is not a quality rating.
Buying questions
Which tool is closest to freelancer invoicing?
HoneyBill, with Tier 2 needed for its broader AI, recurring billing and payment workflow.
Can PrometAI plan slots be reused after deletion?
No. The current clarification says creating a plan consumes a creation and deletion does not return it.
