Electronic signature lifetime deals: document limits and team access

BreezeDoc is an option for routine client agreements, with paid plans for follow-up and shared team work. Its current vendor pricing and AppSumo document limits disagree, so a volume-only upgrade recommendation needs clarification.

Start by describing the journey from preparation to completed copy. This hub helps you choose the plan and identify operational requirements before relying on a signing tool.

Consider Individual for reminders and customized email, or Agency for team collaboration. Check the current free entitlement before paying solely for more sends or API access.

Choose the confirmed feature before upgrading for volume

The AppSumo deal still lists twenty Individual sends per month. The current vendor homepage and pricing page now describe unlimited documents and API on Free as well as the paid plans. Dedicated help retains the older caps. Confirm the entitlement shown for your account before paying to remove a limit that may have changed.

Individual has a clearer role when a solo sender needs automatic reminders, customized email and a redirect after signing. Agency adds shared documents and templates for a team. A custom logo does not remove every vendor reference: the founder confirms copyright text remains in recipient emails.

Use a representative agreement to assess layout, receipt, signing and completion before moving deadline-sensitive work.

Understand what counts as a document

Under the capped workflow described in the standard help guide, BreezeDoc counts a document when you send it, including when you generate signing links. Drafts and templates do not use that allowance; the counter resets on the first without rollover. The newer unlimited pricing description makes it necessary to distinguish account entitlements before applying those caps.

Use templates for repeated structures such as onboarding forms or service agreements, but review the details every time. A reusable document should reduce repeated setup while leaving names, dates, scope and payment terms open to deliberate checking.

Keep a simple internal naming convention using the client, document purpose and version. That makes it easier to locate the correct draft and avoids treating a completed older agreement as the current one.

Check the file and fields before sending

The upload guide accepts common document and image formats, including PDF and Word, with a 5 MB file limit. A document with many pages can still be prepared, provided the file fits the supported format and size.

Check the rendered document before adding fields. Confirm that page breaks, tables and important text are intact. Assign each signature, date or information field to the correct person, and make required fields deliberate rather than making everything mandatory.

Test a representative document with several field types and your expected recipients. Inspect it on a phone and a larger screen.

Make the recipient order and next step obvious

BreezeDoc’s email flow follows party order: the next recipient is contacted after the preceding signer finishes. A person copied for information is different from someone who must sign. Decide these roles before sending, especially when a client and an internal approver are both involved.

The sending guide also distinguishes a document view link from a signer’s own link. Share the intended link with the intended person. A later signer’s direct link can be opened before their turn, so do not treat manually distributed links as an enforced sequential approval system.

Write a short email that tells the recipient what the document covers, when you need it and whom to contact with questions. Good context can prevent a stalled signing request more effectively than sending another unexplained reminder.

Use reminders without losing ownership of follow-up

Paid plans offer automatic reminders at roughly three-day intervals, up to three per signer. They stop once that person signs; the interval is not freely configurable. This suits a simple follow-up pattern but may not match a more complex escalation process.

Assign someone to review outstanding documents before a project deadline. An email marked sent is not the same as a completed agreement. Use the activity information to decide whether the next step is a reminder, a correction or a direct conversation.

After completion, store the signed copy and its activity record where your business keeps the rest of that client’s work. Decide this destination at setup time so documents do not become scattered across inboxes.

Choose Agency for shared work, not just a higher label

Agency adds shared team documents and templates, with roles for different responsibilities. Decide who can prepare material, who sends it and who only needs to view it. Use a shared template only when someone owns keeping it accurate.

Both paid plans include API access. The current vendor pricing also advertises Free API, while the older help disagrees. A new developer preview describes webhooks and MCP alongside a different API version; confirm availability on your account rather than combining old and preview instructions.

For privacy-sensitive or regulated work, review current vendor policies against your requirements. Signatures, passcodes and activity logs do not establish a particular compliance certification. Resolve essential requirements before moving those documents.

Buying questions

Do templates use the monthly document allowance?

No. The allowance concerns sent documents. Templates and unsent preparation are separate, so you can prepare reusable structures before choosing what to send.

When is Agency worth choosing over Individual?

Choose Agency for shared team documents/templates and a custom logo, after confirming the workflow. Do not upgrade solely to remove a document cap until the current pricing conflict is resolved. A copyright text footer still remains in recipient emails.

Can I assume every agreement is suitable for electronic signing?

No. Check the document type, location and any identity or organizational requirements. A convenient signing workflow does not settle those requirements by itself.
