Voice & audio production

AnyToSpeech lifetime deal

The AnyToSpeech lifetime deal is currently sold out on AppSumo. Its three former tiers covered document narration, voice cloning, transcription and AI podcasts. The useful distinction between those tiers is how much text and recorded audio you process—not how many extra features appear in the menu.

Who is AnyToSpeech for?

If you already own the deal, use the character and transcription limits below to plan production. New buyers should compare available alternatives rather than treat the historical prices as an active offer. AnyToSpeech remains useful to assess for scripts, documents and controlled podcast dialogue; its broad feature list does not establish unlimited music, video or translated dubbing.

Costs and limits to account for

  • The AppSumo lifetime offer is sold out; listed tier prices are historical.
  • A character allowance is not a promise of a fixed number of finished minutes.
  • Podcast revisions, media translation and extra capacity need a workflow-specific usage check.

Count the final script and the revisions

Speech uses characters, not a guaranteed number of minutes. Speaking speed, language and pauses change the final duration. Count the text you intend to generate, then add the portions you expect to regenerate.

For example, four approved scripts of 8,000 characters total 32,000 characters. Regenerating a quarter of that material adds another 8,000, making a 40,000-character planning budget. That fits the current Hobby allowance of 50,000 characters per month. Adjust the example for your script lengths and revision needs.

AppSumo’s FAQ explicitly says unused characters roll over. It does not specify a rollover cap or guarantee that unused transcription minutes accumulate. Do not treat those two counters as interchangeable.

Which historical tier matches your workload?

All three tiers include the same named core tools. The step from Hobby to Standard doubles monthly characters but increases transcription capacity fivefold and adds two voice profiles. Pro is a much larger character allowance; it is not automatically necessary for a single long recording.

Historical tiers: choose by the limiting counter
TierIntended workloadImportant boundary
HobbyOne narrator and occasional document audio50,000 characters/month; 200 transcription minutes/month.
StandardSeveral recurring speakers or more recorded material3 profiles; 1,000 transcription minutes/month.
ProLarge scripted output or a larger voice library1,000,000 characters/month; 10 profiles.

Podcasts and music need more than a character headline

A generated podcast may involve drafting a script, voicing it and producing revisions. The current AppSumo table does not publish a complete per-operation rate card for podcasts, Music Studio, talking photos and speech-to-speech conversion. Avoid turning the headline character allowance into an unsupported count of songs or finished episodes.

One AppSumo reviewer said failed generations were not charged. That is useful feedback, but it is not an independently verified billing rule. Check the cost shown for a job and keep a revision allowance before building a regular client package around it.

MCP shares the existing balance

The official MCP page says connected assistants use the same characters, transcription minutes and plan limits as the website. There is no separate AnyToSpeech API subscription for that connector. The AI assistant you connect can still have its own subscription or usage bill.

MCP does not expand the plan. A loop that regenerates text or translates several recordings can consume the same balance faster than occasional manual work. Limit permissions to the needed actions and inspect the resulting usage before automating a large batch.

Commercial use does not supply source rights

Commercial output use is listed in every historical AppSumo tier. You still need permission for the document, music, images and cloned voice you supply. The free vendor plan excludes commercial use, so a free preview is not a substitute for a paid commercial entitlement.

Extra-capacity prices for the AppSumo account, transcription rollover and exact charges for the ancillary studios remain unconfirmed. The current vendor subscriptions are a separate purchase route; their short direct refund terms do not replace the original AppSumo refund window.

Compare an available narration or dubbing deal

Unmixr AI is an available alternative for narration and multilingual dubbing, but voice cloning and its API begin at three codes and have their own limits. Compare the specific voice you need and the separate cloning budget before moving an existing workflow.

Voicina is worth considering when the main job is translated video with subtitles and an API. Its budget is based on credits per minute, and a full translated dub consumes much more than a plain transcript. It is not a direct substitute for every AnyToSpeech podcast or music feature.

USE CASES

What problems does AnyToSpeech solve?

01

Make an audio edition of a long document

Readers want an audio version of a guide or course, but recording the entire document is impractical.

How to use it

  1. Confirm you can use the document and remove page numbers, repeated headers and formatting noise.
  2. Break the text into logical chapters and review pronunciation of names and technical terms.
  3. Generate the approved chapters, download the MP3s and retain the final script alongside each file.

What this helps you do: A chaptered audio edition can be produced without recording every paragraph yourself.

Limitations: A buyer reported difficulty with a 600,000-character manuscript and used smaller chapters. That is one account, not a measured upload limit.

02

Create a scripted two-person explanation

A dialogue format is useful, but an automatically invented conversation may omit or distort important details.

How to use it

  1. Prepare and fact-check the dialogue before generating audio.
  2. Use Podcast Studio’s script option and assign the two speakers.
  3. Review the output and budget a second generation when a phrase or delivery needs changing.

What this helps you do: A source-led conversation can support course recaps or explanatory audio.

Limitations: Generated dialogue still needs editorial review.

AnyToSpeech lifetime deal FAQs

Is the AnyToSpeech AppSumo deal available?

No. The current listing and review page both show it as sold out. Historical prices are retained for existing owners and comparison, not as an active offer.

Do unused characters roll over?

Yes, the AppSumo FAQ explicitly confirms character rollover. It does not publish a cap or establish the same rule for transcription minutes.

Does MCP require another AnyToSpeech subscription?

The official connector uses the existing account balance without a separate AnyToSpeech API subscription. Your connected assistant may charge independently.

How many minutes of narration does the plan include?

The narration allowance is expressed in characters. Final duration depends on the text, voice, language and delivery; no fixed minutes conversion is promised here.

Can I use a free preview for a commercial project?

The vendor pricing page excludes commercial use from its free plan. Commercial output use is listed in the paid lifetime tiers.

Can I use one plan for several editors?

The public offer gives voice-profile counts, not a team-seat allowance. Multiple saved voices should not be treated as multiple staff accounts.
