Which tool should you choose?

t0ggles

Choose the lowest tier that covers internal members. Do not count client guests as paid seats or buy a higher tier expecting a larger built-in AI allowance.

Suitable for

Teams that want a combined project board, client intake and AI connections without per-guest charges.

Consider another option if

Workflows requiring multiple assignees on one task, guest access to the Notes section, task event webhooks or full white-labeling.

Credits, limits and extra costs

t0ggles

  • One task has one assignee; use subtasks for separate owners.
  • Board forms create tasks, not a new client board automatically.
  • Guest notes access, full white-labeling and task event webhooks are restricted.

Unlimited storage still has a file-size limit

The founder states unlimited storage with a 100 MB maximum for each file. A large video or design archive can exceed that limit even when total storage is unlimited. Keep oversized files in a suitable storage service and attach the project link.

Task import supports CSV, JSON and Jira XML. The documentation recognizes Trello JSON exports but excludes checklists, comments and attachments from that import. Price the manual transfer work before moving a mature board with years of discussion.

Paid report exports support CSV and PDF; task and note exports are documented separately. Downloading a report is not a full account backup. Evaluate a small representative export and restore process before treating it as your exit plan.

Worklenz

  • Five codes are the founder-stated threshold for Business; the deal terms themselves still name Pro.
  • AI credits and API/MCP support are not established current deal entitlements.
  • Cloud lifetime access does not include the separately sold self-hosted Business plan.

Costs that the lifetime price does not settle

The hosted deal is separate from self-hosted Business. The free community code does not include paid self-hosted support or remove server, backup and maintenance costs. Choose cloud or self-hosting as a deployment decision rather than assuming both paid products are bundled.

Storage is finite: one code includes 5 GB, and the five-code reply specifies 25 GB. Extra-storage pricing was not established. Link large files from an appropriate storage service where your workflow allows it, rather than assuming the deal holds an unlimited asset library.

Full white-labeling, custom cloud domains and custom roles are explicitly excluded by the founder from the five-code offer. Logo customization alone does not provide a separately branded client platform.

How the tools fit common workflows

t0ggles

See deadlines across several client projects

A separate board for each client makes it easy to miss work that collides across projects.

  1. Create a project for each client on a shared board.
  2. Use project columns for the combined view and Focus mode when working on one client.
  3. Use assignee or due-date grouping to review work that overlaps across projects.

Expected outcome: The same task set can support a team-wide view and a focused project view.

Limitation: A shared board is not permission isolation by itself. Configure project-level guest access before inviting clients.

Turn client requests into tasks without copying email

Requests often arrive without a priority, project or enough detail to assign the work.

  1. Create a Board Form with the questions needed to route the request.
  2. Map answers to task fields, then use the approval queue to review incomplete submissions.
  3. Create the client project from a saved template and invite the client only to that project.

Expected outcome: Requests arrive with context attached to a task, ready for an owner to review.

Limitation: The form does not automatically create a new board. A client-onboarding process still needs the documented project-template step or a separately designed integration.

Worklenz

Keep project hours attached to the work

A manager cannot see which client tasks consumed the budget when time entries sit in a separate tool.

  1. Create one project for the client and assign each task to its owner.
  2. Have members use the timer or add manual worklogs against the task.
  3. Review missing entries and compare logged time with the estimate before reporting to the client.

Expected outcome: Task-level logs provide context for overruns and future estimates.

Limitation: A timer records entered time; it does not establish that time is billable or replace review of incomplete logs.

Let a client review one project without exposing the workspace

Adding a client as an ordinary member can give them the wrong access or consume capacity intended for staff.

  1. Invite the client to the specific project using Guest.
  2. Choose the files and discussion appropriate for that project.
  3. Check access as that guest before sharing confidential client work.

Expected outcome: The documented guest role supports comments and attachments while excluding other projects and workspace finance.

Limitation: Guest allowance depends on the plan. A guest is not the same feature as the Business client portal.

What buyers report

Buyer experiences can vary with the plan, product version and workflow.

t0ggles

New-offer buyers like the interface, but finding controls can take time

The three current-listing reviews praise the interface and early use. One buyer said some options were hard to locate; the founder recommended Quick Search and documentation. These short early accounts do not establish long-term reliability or validate AI-agent execution.

Earlier buyers disagree about ease of onboarding

Five reviews from the previous offer include praise for the board design and easier project management, but one buyer found the setup confusing and could not find the support route they wanted. These describe the older product; the current release may differ.

Worklenz

Time logs help some buyers, while setup and plan requirements frustrate others

The recent review sample includes praise for task worklogs and quick reporting, and criticism of configuration-heavy project setup and premium plan requirements.

Status syncing deserves a real migration check

A MacSources review republished by its own account on Reddit reported occasional status changes reverting after leaving a view. It is one publisher account, not community consensus; later releases list fixes without proving this exact report resolved.

t0ggles vs Worklenz: common questions

Which product costs less for my workload?

Choose the smallest tier that covers your actual usage in each product, then add any required membership, credits or outside subscriptions. A cheaper starting price is not a saving if it leaves essential work uncovered.

Can I buy every lifetime plan shown here?

Only offers marked available have a current recorded purchase option. Sold-out plans are historical context. The merchant confirms the final price, availability and terms when you buy.

t0ggles: Is this the same offer as the old t0ggles lifetime deal?

No. The current offer has five tiers and a listing address ending in t0ggles-7ca85bd9. Older four-tier prices and guarantee wording should not be applied to it.

t0ggles: Do guests consume seats?

The founder says guests do not consume team seats and are unlimited on all current tiers. Guest permissions are more restricted than internal-member access.

Worklenz: Does five codes include Business?

The founder says yes, with 25 members and 25 GB. The formal AppSumo terms still name Pro, so confirm this feature mapping when Business is essential.

Worklenz: Are recurring tasks an extra subscription?

The founder says recurring tasks are included in all AppSumo purchases, even if the standard product screen labels them Business. A license-access problem should be resolved with support.
