Credits, limits and extra costs

Framekit

  • AI credits are one-time, not monthly
  • Storage is shared across all sites
  • Tier 3 zero-fee wording conflicts with a founder reply

One-time credits fund a finite amount of building

The plan labels explicitly say AI credits are one-time. They are not replenished every month. Use a clear initial brief and review small sections before repeatedly regenerating an entire site; the useful measure is completed, accepted work rather than the number of prompts sent.

The expanded feature list includes own OpenAI or Gemini keys and agent access through MCP. That provides another route to AI work, but your chosen provider or assistant can charge separately. “Unlimited with your own key” does not mean the model provider supplies free usage.

A founder question about the price of extra credits was not fully resolved in the visible reply, which answered shared storage. Do not quote a guessed top-up price. A creator expecting continuous AI redesign should confirm the current purchase screen and the exact BYOK workflow before budgeting.

SiteSkite

  • Existing hosting remains separate
  • Full-site migration overwrites the destination database
  • AI build estimates and connected-site slots are different

Check recovery and storage as a complete workflow

Plans list classic and incremental backups plus bring-your-own cloud storage. The founder says SiteSkite-managed backups are encrypted and stored in the EU, with own-storage options for customers who need another account or region. This is vendor-stated architecture, not an independent security audit.

Estimate the backup footprint of database, uploads and retained versions. A single photo-heavy site may matter more than several brochure sites. Managed storage is finite, and connecting your own cloud account can add its own storage, transfer and recovery costs.

Evaluate recovery on a disposable environment: create a backup, make a known change and restore the intended state. An existing backup record is not proof that recovery works for every host and plugin combination. Production hosting, premium WordPress extensions and domain renewal stay outside this management licence.

How the tools fit common workflows

Framekit

Collect useful video feedback

A filmmaker receives vague change requests over email.

  1. Upload an edit and choose the client review access.
  2. Ask the client to comment at the relevant moment.
  3. Compare the revised version and record approval.

Expected outcome: Comments can be tied to a specific part of the work.

Limitation: This does not provide a general large-file client upload portal.

Deliver a photo selection

A photographer needs clients to choose final images.

  1. Create a gallery and set access permissions.
  2. Ask the client to mark favorites.
  3. Deliver the selected files through the supported download workflow.

Expected outcome: Selection and delivery can stay beside the portfolio.

Limitation: Per-photo purchase and automatic paid watermark removal are not supported in the founder answer.

SiteSkite

Review updates before applying them

An agency needs a repeatable WordPress maintenance process.

  1. Connect an authorized site and create a backup.
  2. Open a sandbox clone and check the proposed change.
  3. Use an agreed deployment and recovery method after verification.

Expected outcome: Updates can be evaluated away from production.

Limitation: A full migration overwrites the destination rather than merging fresh records.

Build a WordPress first draft

A freelancer wants a portable starting point.

  1. Choose Tier 2+ and define a clear business brief.
  2. Generate and refine in AI Site Studio.
  3. Review the actual WordPress output and export or migrate deliberately.

Expected outcome: The result stays in the WordPress ecosystem.

Limitation: Generated-build capacity does not increase connected-site slots or include external hosting.

What buyers report

Buyer experiences can vary with the plan, product version and workflow.

Framekit

Very early creative-workflow feedback

One visible current review describes a purchase the previous day and enthusiasm for photographer/video workflows. It is too small and early a sample to infer long-term reliability; founder questions provide more useful limits on galleries, uploads and storage.

Framekit vs SiteSkite: common questions

Which product costs less for my workload?

Choose the smallest tier that covers your actual usage in each product, then add any required membership, credits or outside subscriptions. A cheaper starting price is not a saving if it leaves essential work uncovered.

Can I buy every lifetime plan shown here?

Only offers marked available have a current recorded purchase option. Sold-out plans are historical context. The merchant confirms the final price, availability and terms when you buy.

Framekit: Do AI credits reset monthly?

No. The displayed allowance is explicitly one-time.

Framekit: Does Tier 2 include more storage than Tier 1?

No. Both display 300 GB shared across the account.

SiteSkite: Does Tier 2 forbid my client’s own domain?

No. Its missing custom-domain feature concerns branded report/demo domains; connected WordPress sites keep their existing domains.

SiteSkite: Does migration preserve the live database?

A full migration overwrites the destination database. It is not a design-only merge.
