Choose by viewing time, storage and real audience size

Tier 1 costs $79 and includes 15 hours of stored video, 15,000 streaming minutes per month and 1,000 active users. That can cover a small course launch, but a large contact list and a heavy viewing month are separate constraints.

A simple workload example: 200 learners watching two hours each creates 24,000 streaming minutes before repeat viewing. Compare that with the plan’s monthly allowance, not with the number of uploaded hours. The same recording watched repeatedly uses delivery capacity without making the stored file longer. Exact overage pricing and the active-user measurement window were not established.

Tiers 2–4 progressively increase contacts, active users, storage and streaming. Tiers 5 and 6 both show 100 stored hours and 75,000 streaming minutes, plus unlimited contacts and active users. Tier 6 is marked Plus-only and principally changes commission and the displayed AI-credit value; it does not add video capacity over Tier 5.

A lifetime licence still takes a share of sales

Tier 1’s platform commission is 10%; Tier 5’s is 5%, and the Plus-only Tier 6’s is 3%. This applies in addition to payment-provider charges. A higher purchase price can therefore change continuing costs, but paying for unused video capacity solely to lower commission may not be the best choice.

The zero-commission add-on is listed at $449 once. Compare it with the platform commission you expect to pay: add-on price divided by the commission percentage expressed as a decimal gives the gross-sales break-even point. This calculation excludes processor fees, refunds, taxes and the value of paying upfront.

A September 26 founder answer says that add-on covers current and future product types and payment plans for the account’s lifetime. Keep the purchase terms. It removes Skillplate’s commission, not every payment or operating charge.

Separate included AI credit from the paid key option

The table lists Gemini credits as dollar values: Tier 1 shows $5 and Tier 6 shows $50. It does not clearly establish renewal frequency, per-action conversion, rollover or top-up rates. Do not assume monthly renewal or a fixed number of generated lessons.

Bringing your own Gemini key is an additional $199. The unlimited-AI-use label describes that connection option; your Gemini account can still bill for provider usage. Complete white-label removal for one business is another $299 and is marked non-refundable. A custom domain is not the same as buying that add-on.

The founder says add-ons can be bought later at the same price while the AppSumo offer remains available. That gives a reason to evaluate the base product first rather than making an irreversible branding purchase on day one. Do not create a trial beforehand without clarifying eligibility: the deal explicitly excludes previous trial accounts.

Do not buy a native community that has not shipped

The latest checked founder confirmation says communities currently use Discord. A September buyer who wanted a native community refunded the base plan after discovering that, but reported losing the non-refundable white-label fee. The founder confirmed the Discord implementation and described native communities as future work.

An October 16 reply also says the roadmap is an intention, not a delivery guarantee. The listing’s broad AI website and campaign language should not be treated as proof that every roadmap workflow is ready for your launch. The same reply confirms that drip scheduling does not pause and resume with the number of paid membership months in the way one buyer requested.

External payment providers need an integration workflow

The founder describes sending a sales-page button to an external checkout, catching its payment webhook through n8n or Zapier, and using Skillplate’s API to register/enrol the buyer. This can be useful when the built-in route does not fit, but it is not a native PayPal toggle.

Budget the external automation service and maintain enrolment, failed-payment and refund handling. Confirm which data reaches Skillplate’s reporting and whether the exact API endpoints cover the lifecycle you need. A large integration-logo collection on a homepage is not evidence that every action is native.
