Costs and limits to account for

Monthly credits do not roll over. Higher resolution and retries reduce usable output.
BYOK still consumes a platform allowance on Tiers 1–3 and incurs external provider charges.
Existing accounts and trials are excluded from this new-user offer.

How many short clips can the credits cover?

The founder’s October example prices a five-second 480p H3 Max generation at 60 credits and Seedance 2.0 at 100 credits. Those are generation charges, not finished-ad promises. Longer clips and higher resolutions cost more; the product shows a charge before you generate.

Use a small sample to establish how many attempts you need. If an ad needs three scenes and each scene takes several versions, count every generation. Image work can use the same AI allowance. Agent tokens are a separate allowance for agent-driven work; a dependable per-project token rate is not specified.

BYOK has two separate costs

With bring-your-own-key, the AI provider bills your account for generation while BuzzHooks meters its own platform allowance. The founder attributes that second allowance to workflows, scene planning, media handling and infrastructure. Included credits and BYOK credits are not interchangeable cash balances.

Tier 1 has 2,500 BYOK platform credits each month; Tier 3 has 50,000. Only Tier 4 removes the platform credit cap. Before upgrading for that benefit, estimate provider spending for the actual model and resolution you will use. The terms say one-time credit packs do not expire, but a current pack price was not established. Failed generations may have credits returned; the wording is discretionary, not a guaranteed cash refund.

Future model access is not an all-inclusive promise

The deal maps to future Starter, Pro, Agency or Scale plan updates. Its terms separately allow future AI models to require an add-on or discounted purchase. That distinction matters if you are buying primarily to avoid paying for new models later.

The founder says some newer models have entered the regular credit system, but will not promise that every future model will. Public API and MCP were still unavailable in the October answers. Buy for the released workflow, not the earlier rollout estimates.

Check the creative fit before scaling up

A real-estate buyer liked the presenter workflow but wanted more images, room labels and a contact end frame. Another buyer found generation expensive for the creative control achieved. These are useful acceptance criteria: the product needs to represent the actual property or item, not merely produce an attractive clip.

BuzzHooks’ terms permit personal and commercial use of generated outputs while making you responsible for permissions covering uploaded images, voices, likenesses and other protected material. That is not a promise of exclusive rights or unrestricted use of any third-party asset. Inspect the generated product details and claims before client delivery.

When another video workflow makes more sense

Compare Wideo for editable template-based animated explainers and repeatable branded scenes. Its download and duration limits are easier to relate to completed exports, although its AI automation has separate limits and caveats.

Choose VideoMule when you already have a screen recording and need an instructional script and synced narration. BuzzHooks’ ad presets are not a substitute for accurately explaining a software task. If a trimmed recording with your own voice solves the problem, a basic recorder and editor may be sufficient without another lifetime purchase.
