KWHero combines keyword research, topic planning, content briefs and AI writing. The lifetime deal has six tiers and several independent counters. Choosing only by article credits can leave you short of analyses, daily lookups or the tracked-site allowance you actually need.
Use KWHero when semantic content planning and optimization are the missing parts of your process. Tier 1 can cover a modest publishing schedule; move up for a named quota or workflow. Do not buy the largest tier assuming unlimited BYOK, unrestricted AI visibility or a full replacement for a broader SEO suite.

Buy for the smallest complete publishing workload
Tier 1 costs $79 and supplies 25 AI credits per month. The deal defines an outline as one credit and an article of up to 7,500 words as four. A workflow requesting both therefore needs five credits per article before retries or other actions. Five such articles need 25 credits; ten need 50. Compare those requirements with the current table rather than treating one credit as one article.
Tier 2 doubles the entry AI allowance and expands research capacity. Tiers 3–5 raise several pools at different rates, so compare the limiting activity: content analyses, agent work, metrics or daily searches. Tier 6 offers the largest displayed allowances, but it is not automatically the cheapest choice for a team that mainly edits manually.
AI credits, agent credits and metrics credits do different jobs
AI credits cover the defined outline and article actions. Agent credits and metrics credits have separate monthly rows, while content analyses and keyword searches have their own caps. The material reviewed does not define every current agent or metrics operation’s debit rate. An accurate forecast needs that operation-level information, not a sum of unrelated counters.
AI credits refresh every 30 days and unused credits do not roll over according to the offer FAQ. Daily lookup and SERP allowances are not a monthly writing balance you can save for a large publishing day. Plan the busiest research session as well as your total monthly output.

BYOK has a platform limit and an external bill
The current Tier 6 table lists 5,000 AI credits per month with an OpenAI key. An older founder answer describes unlimited BYOK at that level, but it conflicts with today’s offer. Use the current numerical cap for purchase planning and request confirmation if unlimited generation is essential.
The founder confirms BYOK means an API key, not signing in with a consumer OpenAI subscription. You pay provider usage separately. OpenRouter was promised in a recent response, but a promise to add it is not proof it is available. The current offer explicitly names OpenAI; do not buy around an unverified provider connection.
AI visibility needs more checking than the writing table
A recent founder response says tracking supports one site on Tier 1, two on Tier 2 and so on through five on Tier 5. It does not settle Tier 6’s site cap or every question about projects, brands and WordPress connections. Another current question asks how new AI visibility limits map to the licence, without a complete answer.
Country support for keyword research and AI visibility is not identical. The founder says more visibility markets are being added, while an earlier language answer distinguishes content creation from keyword-data availability. Check your target country, language, prompts, models and refresh frequency before buying primarily for AI visibility.
Sharing an editor is not an organization workspace
The founder describes collaborators creating free accounts and accessing shared content plans and editors. That supports working together on drafts, but it is not an organization-level access system with a documented seat and permission matrix. Keep client separation and ownership requirements explicit.
WordPress publishing is included in the table on every tier. Multiple independent WordPress connections, complete SEO-plugin metadata export and general API/MCP access were not established in the reviewed answers. Verify those integration details if your current workflow depends on them; do not infer them from the WordPress logo.
Buyer feedback supports planning value, not ranking promises
The AppSumo buyer reviews praises outlines, topical organization and support. One detailed buyer also criticizes keyword research and finds the agent component less useful, while noting that generated content still needs editing. That is more useful buying evidence than repeating a promise to outrank competitors.
An evaluation should use a topic you know: check whether research finds plausible queries in your market, whether the brief avoids duplicating existing pages, and how much editing the draft needs.
FEATURE COMPARISON
Features, limits and paid extras
“Included” and “unlimited” can mean different things. This checklist separates full access, usage limits, add-ons and features that are not confirmed.

Features are grouped by documented coverage. “Not confirmed” means the evidence is incomplete, not that a feature is absent.

USE CASES
What problems does KWHero solve?
01
Turn a keyword list into distinct article briefs
Closely related keywords can lead to several articles answering the same question.
How to use it
Research the topic and inspect its clusters.
Review topical coverage and choose a distinct purpose for each article.
Build an outline, add original evidence and review it before publishing.
What this helps you do: The tool can organize research before drafting, reducing preventable overlap.
Limitations: Clusters and scores are suggestions. Search intent, original evidence and editorial judgement still determine whether two pages should exist.
02
Improve an existing article without rewriting everything
A page may omit a useful subtopic even though it already answers the main question.
How to use it
Run a content analysis for its target query.
Compare suggested topics with the reader’s actual needs.
Add missing explanations and verify facts instead of inserting every suggested term.
What this helps you do: Optimization can focus editing on substantive gaps.
Limitations: A semantic score does not establish a ranking gain, and analysis consumes a separate allowance from AI drafting.
BUYER FEEDBACK
What buyers say
Buyer experiences can vary with the plan, product version and workflow.
Mixed feedback
Briefs and topical organization
Buyers praise outline quality and topic planning. One detailed review says keyword research could improve and agent features may not fit an experienced editor’s workflow. Content still needed editing.
KWHero images
KWHero, Nuwtonic or Local Rank Tracker
KWHero fits the research-to-brief-to-draft process. Nuwtonic focuses on ongoing site content and AI visibility operations, with shared content credits and separate prompt-run budgets. Compare the actual action you need instead of assuming the two products’ credit numbers buy equal work.
Local Rank Tracker serves a different job: Google Business Profile visibility, map positions and listing management. It is the stronger category candidate for local client profiles, not an interchangeable article writer. For broad technical auditing or backlink investigation, KWHero’s founder explicitly cautions against treating it as a full Ahrefs or Semrush equivalent.
The current offer says 5,000 credits per month. An older unlimited claim conflicts with this, so unlimited use should not be assumed.
How many credits does an article use?
The deal defines four AI credits for an article up to 7,500 words and one for an outline. Requesting both uses five before other actions or retries.
Do unused AI credits roll over?
No. The offer FAQ says a fresh allowance is provided every 30 days without rollover.
Can my team have separate accounts?
The founder says collaborators can create free accounts and work on shared plans and editors. Organization administration and a detailed permissions model are not established.
Does BYOK include ChatGPT subscription usage?
No. The documented route uses an OpenAI API key and separate provider billing, not a consumer chatbot login.
Can I track 23 sites for AI visibility?
The founder explicitly says that workload is unsupported on one account. The stated mapping reaches five sites on Tier 5; Tier 6 and precise module limits still need confirmation.
